AN anonymous supporter has given an ‘amazingly generous’ donation to a charity draw in aid of Scottish children's hospices.

The donor has given a brand-new car to be part of an exclusive prize draw for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) - which has a facility in Balloch.

The Mini Cooper Classic is a top-of-the-range LCI five-door automatic donated by an unknown person jointly with car dealer Grassick’s of Perth.

All profits from ticket sales will go directly to CHAS, a hospice service for babies, children, and young people with a life-shortening condition.

Ruathy Donald, CHAS Community Fundraiser, said: “We are delighted to offer our supporters this exclusive opportunity to win a beautiful new car. It truly is an amazingly generous donation, and we are so grateful to our fundraising volunteer Jackie Campbell and her J-Bay Team for organising this prize draw for us.

“There are a limited number of tickets so I would advise anyone interested to buy their tickets now before they all sell out – you have to be in it to win it as they say."

Esuan Steenkamp, Grassick’s Head of Business, added: “We are excited to be able to play a part in this fantastic prize draw for CHAS and are blown away by the donor’s generosity.”

The car will be in Grassicks for anyone who would like to visit and see what they could win.

The lucky winner will be able to drive away with the car in July.
