Rangers fans have hailed their manager for his delirious reaction after his side produced a top display to beat Celtic at Parkhead.

Steven Gerrard wore his heart on his sleeve on the full-time whistle with an outpouring of relief and delight.

The ex-Liverpool man let out a roar to the Sky Sports cameras before sprinting to join his players on the pitch in celebration.

His players gave their all and won the match through goals from Ryan Kent and Nikola Katic either side of a controversial Callum McGregor equaliser.

Supporters loved the show of emotion from their boss and his coaching staff and shared footage from Sky on social media.

And they lapped up Gers' first victory at Celtic Park in nine years.

One said: "Great to see a manager with such passion."
