TWO people have been rushed to hospital after a horror one-car smash near Glasgow.
The incident took place on Bridge of Weir Road between Brookfield and Bridge of Weir, on Friday, March 1, shortly after 7am.
999 crews raced to the scene and a 30-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were taken to hospital.
During the incident, the road was closed, however, it reopened shortly after 9.40am.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “About 7.40am on Friday, March 1, 2024, we were called to a report of a one-car crash on Bridge of Weir Road, between Brookfield and Bridge of Weir.
“Officers attended and a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed while emergency services were at the scene and re-opened about 9.40am.”
