FOUR men are due in court following an alleged disturbance outside a pub before a Scottish Cup game.
We previously reported that a group reportedly clashed outside a bar before a football match on Saturday, January 20.
Cops were called to the incident at the premises in Airdrie ahead of the Airdrieonians v St Johnstone fixture on Saturday, January 20, which the home side won 1-0.
Now, four men, aged 20, 25, 28, and 30, have been arrested and charged following the alleged disturbance.
They are set to appear in court on Friday, February 23.
An investigation is continuing to identify all those involved.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Four men, aged 20, 25, 28 and 30, have been arrested and charged following a disturbance involving Airdrieonians and St Johnstone football fans within a pub on Alexander Street, Airdrie a Saturday, January 20, 2024.
"They are due to appear at Airdrie Sherriff Court on Friday, February 23, 2024.
"The investigation is continuing to identify all involved."
