A MAN has been fined after allegedly being caught driving a 'death trap' van on a busy Glasgow motorway.

Officers say the 48-year-old road user was allegedly spotted driving the vehicle on the M8 at Hillington.

Following that, cops say they stopped the driver before he 'impaled a car or a pedestrian'.

The man was issued with a fine for the dangerous use of a motor vehicle.
