A MAN has been rushed to hospital after he was struck by a vehicle in the city's Haghill area.
Emergency services were called to Cumbernauld Road at around 5.20pm yesterday afternoon.
A man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance for treatment following the incident.
It is not known how serious his injuries are.
Images of the scene shared by Glasgow Live show emergency services in attendance and a white van with damage to its front windscreen.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.20pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022, police were called after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Cumbernauld Road, Glasgow.
"The male pedestrian was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
