SHOPPERS have been pictured in Glasgow city centre as they make the most of the year's biggest sales.
Our photographer Colin Mearns headed along to Buchanan Street to capture pictures of bargain hunters as they enjoyed the start of the Boxing Day sales.
A large queue formed at Lush this morning while many shoppers were pictured with large bags from a variety of retailers as some stores offered up to 75% off items.
It comes as research by Mastercard showed physical spending in stores across the festive period was up 3.5% on last year, while online spending had declined by 2.8%.
