A busy Paisley road that links the town with Silverburn Shopping Centre will shut for five days to allow for essential resurfacing works.
Motorists are being warned to avoid Hurlet Road from Grahamston Road to Barrhead Road as repairs begin to reinstate sections of worn high friction surfacing and fix accident-damaged street lighting.
A closure will be in place on the southbound carriageway from 8am to 5pm on August 9, 10 and 11.
Workers will be back on Monday and Tuesday to finish the job, meaning closures for another two days at the same times.
The route is used by shoppers from Paisely and Barrhead to get to Silverburn.
The road has already been part of a six week-long project by SP Energy Networks, which began in the middle of July. It has seen both sides of the road dug up and intermintently reduced to one lane.
Traffic will be diverted for the latest closure via Hurlet Road, Hawkhead Road, Glasgow Road, Paisley Road West, Crookston Road and Barrhead Road.
Drivers are being asked to plan their route in advance to avoid potential delays.
