A WOMAN is fighting for life in hospital after she and six other pedestrians were hit by a car on Boxing Day.
Police are appealing for information after the crash in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, which saw three others - one of which a teenage boy - also seriously injured.
The crash took place on the town's Manse Road at around 4.50pm on Thursday.
It's believed the car - a grey Land Rover - collided with the group of people as well as hitting a parked car.
The seven casualties were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where the 60-year-old woman is said to be in a critical condition with a serious head injury.

Officers say two women, aged 21 and 65, and a 15-year-old boy, are in a serious but stable condition.
Another two women, aged 45 and 52, and a 50-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
The 64-year-old female driver of the Land Rover was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
A local resident described a scene of "total carnage" in her eyewitness account to the BBC.
She told the broadcaster: "A parked car took the brunt of the impact after the first seven casualties and probably saved more pedestrians being hurt.
"It was pushed back down the road.
"It was devastating.
"Total carnage."
Pictures from the scene show a large police presence in the area as crews launch an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
Inspector William Graham, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “We’re keen to establish the full circumstances and are looking for people to contact us who have any relevant information about this incident.
“We’re appealing for anyone who might have witnessed this incident or saw the grey Land Rover just before the incident happened to contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2520 of December 26.
