WET WET WET have announced a former noughties popstar will be their new singer.
The band’s existing members, drummer Tommy Cunningham, bassist Graeme Clark and keyboardist Neil Mitchell have welcomed Liberty X star Kevin Simm on board.
It follows the departure of original singer Marti Pellow who quit the Scottish pop band last year to focus on his solo career.
Simm also won the voice in 2016 and shot to fame with Liberty X’s hit Just A Little.
The band showcase their new line-up at Saint Luke’s and The Winged Ox’s Glasgow on November 16.
Wet Wet Wet shot to fame after forming in the early 80s. The band are best know for their 1994 cover of The Troggs’ 1960s hit Love is All Around.
The group also had hits with Wishing I Was Lucky, Sweet Little Mystery, Angel Eyes and Goodnight Girl.
