CCTV images have been released by cops who are still searching for a missing Springburn man who has been going through a difficult time.

The last confirmed sighting of Graeme Hind, 55, was on CCTV at the Gulf petrol station on Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs at 9.17am on Monday, August 7. He also failed to turn up for an appointment the following day.

Police have issued a CCTV image of him and his vehicle from the petrol station in a bid to help with the ongoing enquiry into his disappearance.

He is described as around 5ft 8 inches, of medium build, clean shaven with short black hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue denims and brown boots. He may have access to a white Citroen dispatch panel van with the registration SM56 XOF.

Sergeant Lisa Millar, from Maryhill Police Station, said: “Graeme has been going through a difficult time recently and we are growing increasingly concerned for his well-being as time passes. He has not been in touch with any of his family or friends and understandably they are upset at his disappearance.

“I would appeal to anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or who may have noticed a white Citroen dispatch panel van, to please get in touch. Similarly, anyone who may have any dashcam footage is asked to contact police.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Maryhill Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 2156 of Wednesday 9 August 2018.”
