Police were called to a home in Glasgow after reports of a 'weapon' being there.
Officers descended on the property on Kyleakin Road in the Arden area of the Southside on Tuesday afternoon.
They had been made aware of a report of a weapon in the home and that a man had taken unwell.
When they arrived at the scene, a BB gun was recovered.
No one was found to have been injured and there was no wider threat to the public.
A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital to be checked.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 4pm on Tuesday, May 14 to a report of a possible weapon within a property on Kyleakin Road in Glasgow where a man had been taken ill.
“Officers attended and a BB gun was recovered. There was no threat to the wider public and no one was injured.
“A 31-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be checked over.”
