A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with culpable homicide following the death of a pensioner in Glasgow.
We previously reported police were called to the Victoria Road area in Govanhill on Friday, April 12, after receiving a report of a 70-year-old man allegedly being seriously assaulted.
The incident took place at around 11.55pm.
Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 15-year-old appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, April 15, in connection with the incident.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with culpable homicide.
During his appearance, he made no plea or declaration.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear again within the next eight days.
