Two blocks comprising 15 flats could be built on the site of an existing building in Kilsyth if a planning application is successful.
The application, which was submitted to North Lanarkshire Council, concerns an address in Newtown Street which is currently occupied by a warehouse and yard area. If approved, the development would also involve the construction of a new access road and a total of 27 parking spaces.
As the site is surrounded by Drumtrocher Street and Parker Place as well as Newton Street, notification of the proposals has been sent to residents in all of these.
The council has published details of the application on its website, where visitors can view or comment on them by searching for application reference 23/00670/FUL.
