A Still Game star was spotted in the Southside as police attended filming in Glasgow.
Greg Hemphill was on set this afternoon shooting scenes for Hogmanay sketch show, Queen of The New Year.
The BBC production took over Barfillan Drive, Craigton with a Police Scotland van in the area as crew members shut down the street.
Meanwhile actors were also dressed up as officers while others wore bright orange Hi Vis vests.
It comes as they took part in scenes for the annual New Year special, which is set to be broadcast for the third year in a row.
Residents living in the area were spotted standing in their gardens trying to grab a sneak peak of the show, which will air before the bells next month.
They were warned in a letter from the BBC that filming would take place from 8am to 6pm and that they may have to temporarily move their cars during that period.
Large yellow signs also told drivers they could not park in the zone while filming took place.
The letter read: “BBC Comedy Productions will be filming for a returning sketch show, Queen of The New Year. The Show will be aired on Hogmanay.
“To enable filming to proceed in a safe and legal manner, it will be necessary to close Barfillan Drive.”
The letter added: “Actors will also be portraying police officers. Please be aware Police Scotland will also be in attendance.
“Filming of the scene predominantly takes place towards the ‘dead end’ section of Barfillan Drive, however the road closure applies to the full road.
“On the day of filming, we may kindly request homeowners to move their vehicles which would normally be parked on the street to a nearby temporary location.
“The pavement will remain open for pedestrians but we may hold you for a short time for safety reasons.
“Please be assured that we will make every possible effort to minimise any inconvenience to the residents of Barfillan Drive.”
The letter also assured residents that Glasgow City Council were aware of the filming.
